A Deep Commitment Safety and the Environment

As an oilfield services company that places great emphasis on strong values, Aerion is deeply committed to the health and safety of our employees, our customers and everyone on our job sites. Likewise, we strive to protect the communities where we operate as well as the earth’s natural resources by focusing on environmental responsibility at all times. As such, Aerion has developed a comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) program that incorporates continuous improvement of our operations as well as total commitment from all of our employees. 

In order to assure our clients that the services and personnel Aerion provides are of the highest caliber Aerion has implemented several safety oriented programs.  Since inception Aerion has maintained a strict zero tolerance drug and alcohol program.  Our program was developed to meet or exceed our clients requirements and is maintained in accordance with DOT requirements.   With a strong eye toward safety, Aerion has implemented a safety training program following our client and regulatory requirements.  All field personnel receive SafeLand, OSHA, equipment specific, and defensive driving training.  Additional trainings such as client specific orientations, Hydrogen Sulfide training and other needs are tailored to the job.  Coupled with our new hire orientation we are able to technicians that are knowledgeable about their job, the hazards inherent to the oilfield and how to safely perform their work.

While we know training is a critical component of safe operations we also believe it is important to look forward at leading indicators and get ahead of accidents before they occur.  With that in mind we have used a Behavioral Based Safety program to identify positive and negative trends as well as opportunities for improvement consistent with our safety and quality program.  Job Safety Analysis (JSA) evaluations combined with our BBS program provide us with insight into where we are successful so that those learnings can be shared throughout the organization.

Safety is Always a Top Priority at Aerion

The health and safety of our people and the communities where we work have always been – and will always be – a top priority at Aerion. As such, we have developed a comprehensive HSE program, including a detailed safety manual to which all Aerion employees must adhere. In addition, we hold both daily and weekly safety meetings to ensure that all employees are up to date on the latest safety procedures as well as specific safety requirements at all job sites.

Safety training also plays a major role at Aerion. Our employees undergo a wide range of training programs including:

• Core Compliance
• Safe Land
• Safe Gulf

In addition, Aerion is not only a member of ISNetworld and PEC – we are also an A-rated contractor with both of these organizations. This is a testament to the quality and effectiveness of our overall HSE program and our total commitment to safety. As a responsible oil and gas service company, we strive for zero accidents and zero incidents every day and on every job site. It’s our goal to create the safest work environment possible – while also helping to ensure that all employeed are able to return home safely to their families every day.

Environmental Responsibility

At Aerion we do more than just talk about the importance of protecting the environment – we take action. The perfect example is our closed-loop solids control system. This system offers advantages that help to protect the environment including but not limited to:
